Leadership in Community Engagement

Our CEO, Askar, plays a leading role in driving local change. He chairs the Deeside Business Forum, an organisation advocating for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). For over a decade, the Forum has worked to ensure SME voices are heard. More recently, it has supported initiatives that create employment opportunities for people with disabilities — demonstrating our commitment to inclusivity and social equity.

Askar also chairs the UK Fibre Connectivity Forum, a body working to ensure equal access to digital connectivity across the UK, particularly in rural communities. Through this work, we help bridge the digital divide and ensure no community is left behind in the digital age.

Supporting Families and Local Governance

Our HR Director, Christine, also plays a key role in our community outreach. She serves as a Trustee for Home-Start Flintshire, a charity supporting families with young children across the region. Her voluntary work provides vulnerable families with the resources they need to build better lives.

In addition, Christine serves as a community councillor, reinforcing our support for local governance and grassroots involvement in decision-making.
